First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested two treatments for palmar hyperhidrosis (excessive hand sweating). One group received a stellate ganglion block (an injection near neck nerves), the other took a combination of anticholinergic and antidepressant pills. Researchers compared how well each stopped sweating in 46 adults aged 20-45. The goal was to find which approach works better for this condition.
