Study tests new jaw device for kids with underbites
NCT ID NCT07360509
Summary
This study compared two different dental devices used to correct underbites in growing children. Fourteen children with underbites wore either a palatal plate or a more conventional brace system, both combined with a facemask. Researchers measured changes in jaw and tooth positions to see which device was more effective at guiding proper growth.
