First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether applying concentrated growth factor (CGF) or collagen fleece to the wound in the roof of the mouth after gum graft surgery could speed healing and reduce pain. Thirty-eight healthy adults were divided into three groups: CGF, collagen, or no extra treatment. Researchers measured tissue thickness and healing at several time points and asked patients about their pain and quality of life. The goal was to see if these materials help the mouth heal better and more comfortably.
