First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at people with severe leg artery disease that causes pain or wounds that won't heal. After a procedure to open blocked leg arteries, patients usually take two blood thinners for at least 1 month. This trial will compare taking them for 1 month versus 3 months to see which is better at preventing amputation or death. About 614 adults will take part.
