First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at people with severe leg artery disease (chronic limb threatening ischemia) who have had a procedure to open blocked arteries below the knee. It compares taking two blood thinners (aspirin and clopidogrel) for 1 month versus 3 months after the procedure. The goal is to see which approach better prevents amputation or death over one year. About 614 adults will take part in this double-blind, randomized trial.
