Can a computer simulation help doctors treat pain better?

NCT ID NCT07507019

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether a digital simulation called PainTrain-AI can help primary care professionals—like doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists—improve how they manage chronic muscle and joint pain. About 185 health workers will use the tool, and researchers will measure changes in their clinical skills, as well as look for gender bias in pain treatment. The goal is to see if this training leads to better, fairer care for patients.
