This study looked at how being very aware of pain before vaginal surgery affects pain, bladder-bowel function, and sexual life after surgery. Researchers followed 77 women and measured their pain awareness, pain-related thoughts, pelvic floor symptoms, and sexual function before and after surgery. The goal was to understand if preoperative pain vigilance influences recovery outcomes.
