Mind over pain: can talking rewire chronic suffering?

NCT ID NCT07287072

Summary

This study is testing whether a new type of psychological therapy called Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) can help people with long-term pain that has no clear physical cause. The trial will involve 12 Norwegian adults who are on sick leave or at risk of it due to their pain. Researchers want to see if PRT, delivered in primary care clinics, can reduce pain intensity and help people get back to their daily activities and work.
