Summary

This study tested whether a special nerve block called erector spinae plane block can reduce pain and the amount of anesthesia needed during and after surgery for tethered cord syndrome in children. The trial included 73 children aged 18 and under. The goal was to improve pain control and reduce side effects from pain medicines.
