First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at two ways to manage pain after heart bypass surgery. 72 adults received either a standard nerve block or a standard block plus an extra one near the ribs. The goal was to see if the extra block lowered pain and the need for strong painkillers. The study is complete, and results will show which method worked better.
