First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a combination of two pain medications (duloxetine and pregabalin) before a root canal can lower pain during and after the procedure. About 280 adults with moderate to severe tooth pain will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug combo or a placebo. Pain levels will be tracked using a simple 0-10 scale at several time points after treatment.
