First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 27, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at how two common pain relievers, dexketoprofen and tramadol, affect breathing and blood flow in people with kidney stone pain. 102 adults in the emergency room received one of the drugs or a combination. Researchers measured carbon dioxide in the breath and other vital signs to see if the drugs caused any short-term changes. The goal was to find out which painkiller is safest for patients with this type of pain.
