NCT ID NCT07440069

First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at two common pain relievers, tramadol and paracetamol, compared to a placebo (salt water) in 300 first-time mothers during active labor. The goal is to see if these drugs can reduce labor time and improve safety for both mother and baby. Participants will receive one dose of the study drug through an IV, and researchers will track labor duration, delivery type, and any side effects.
