Can extra tylenol cut strong painkiller use for kids after surgery?
NCT ID NCT07463482
Summary
This study is testing if giving children a higher dose of Tylenol (paracetamol) before tonsil removal surgery helps reduce their pain more effectively. Researchers want to see if this higher dose lowers the need for stronger opioid painkillers after the operation. The study will involve 54 children aged 3 to 15 who are having this common surgery.
