Can a soothing voice ease IUD pain? trial focuses on women after C-Sections

NCT ID NCT07326007

Summary

This study is testing whether calm, reassuring communication from a doctor can reduce pain during the insertion of a copper IUD. It focuses specifically on women who have only given birth by cesarean section, as they often find the procedure more painful. The trial will compare this 'verbal analgesia' approach to the clinic's standard technique for pain control.
