Pill for procedure pain: a simpler, gentler option?

NCT ID NCT07315698

Summary

This study tested if a common painkiller (paracetamol/acetaminophen) taken by mouth works as well as another drug (ketoprofen) for reducing pain during a uterine exam called an office hysteroscopy. Researchers compared the two in 60 women to see which provided better pain relief and caused fewer side effects like nausea. The goal was to find a more comfortable and practical option for patients.
