Home relaxation therapy offers new hope for cystic fibrosis pain

NCT ID NCT01915875

Summary

This study tested whether adding a relaxation technique called sophrology to standard pain treatment could help people with cystic fibrosis who have frequent or constant pain. Thirteen patients received the relaxation sessions at home along with their usual medications and psychological care. The goal was to see if this combined approach could reduce pain levels, lower anxiety, and improve daily life.
