Zap or buzz? study tests Pain-Free braces removal
NCT ID NCT07293975
Summary
This study aims to find the most comfortable and cost-effective way to reduce pain when removing braces. Researchers will compare two methods—a gentle electrical stimulation (TENS) and a high-frequency vibration device—against doing nothing extra. About 90 people aged 15-35 who are finishing orthodontic treatment will take part, rating their pain and satisfaction to help dentists make the process easier.
