New study aims to make braces removal Pain-Free

NCT ID NCT07293975

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two techniques—TENS and high-frequency vibration—to see which works best for reducing pain during braces removal. 90 people who have finished orthodontic treatment will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods or a control group. Pain and satisfaction will be measured right after the procedure. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to make braces removal more comfortable.
