New study tests Pain-Free braces removal with TENS and vibration
NCT ID NCT07293975
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests two methods—TENS (a mild electrical stimulation) and high-frequency vibration—to see if they can reduce pain when braces are taken off. 90 people who have finished orthodontic treatment will be randomly assigned to one of these methods or a control group. Pain and satisfaction will be measured right after the procedure. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to make braces removal more comfortable.
