First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a small device called NeuroCuple that uses nanotechnology to relieve pain after wisdom teeth extraction. The goal is to see if it can reduce the need for opioid painkillers. About 120 healthy adults aged 18 to 50 who need their wisdom teeth removed will be randomly assigned to get either the active device or a placebo version. The main focus is on how much opioid medication they use in the first 48 hours after surgery.
