Summary

This study tested if taking a single dose of a common painkiller (diclofenac) 30 minutes before a root canal could reduce pain after the procedure. It involved 160 adults with severe tooth pain. The results showed that patients who took the pill beforehand were significantly more likely to be pain-free in the first 12 hours after treatment.
