New study tests better pain relief for teens after chest surgery

Summary
This study compares two different methods for managing pain after surgery to correct sunken chest (pectus excavatum). Researchers want to see which approach helps teens recover faster, reduces the need for opioid painkillers, and causes fewer side effects like numbness. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a special pain catheter or a nerve-freezing technique during their surgery.
