New study aims to solve mystery of lingering pain after lung surgery

Summary

This study looks at three ways to numb nerves near the spine (paravertebral block) to control pain after video-assisted lung surgery. About 90 adults having this surgery will take part. The goal is to find which method works best and why some patients still feel pain despite the block.
