Summary
This study compared two types of nerve blocks—the erector spinae plane block (ESPB) and the adductor canal block (ACB)—for managing pain after total knee replacement surgery. Sixty adults undergoing knee replacement received one of the two blocks, and researchers measured how much pain medication they needed and their pain scores over 48 hours. The goal was to see which block provides better pain relief and helps patients recover more comfortably.
