Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (RISS block and QL block) to see which one provides better pain relief after open kidney removal. Fifty adults aged 40-70 having open nephrectomy will receive one of the blocks before surgery. Researchers will measure how long it takes before patients need extra pain medicine, aiming to improve recovery and reduce opioid use.
