First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (erector spinae plane block and quadratus lumborum block) to see which one works better for pain after a total abdominal hysterectomy. The goal is to reduce the need for strong painkillers like opioids, which can cause side effects. Sixty women aged 35-60 will take part, and their pain levels will be tracked for 24 hours after surgery.
