New pain block may cut morphine use after hip surgery

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks for pain relief after a second hip replacement surgery. Half of the 50 participants will get a newer PENG block, the other half a combination of three nerve blocks. The goal is to see which approach reduces the need for morphine pain medicine in the first day after surgery.
