First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special nerve block (called an erector spinae plane block) can reduce pain and the need for morphine after total hip replacement. About 60 adults having hip surgery will either get the block plus standard pain meds, or standard meds alone. The goal is to see if the block leads to better pain control and faster recovery.
