Summary

This study compared two different drugs given during surgery to see which one better controls pain after a common gallbladder removal procedure. Researchers observed 138 adult patients to see if one drug provided similar pain relief while potentially helping patients wake up faster and with fewer side effects. The goal was to find a good alternative to strong opioid painkillers for better recovery.
