New study tests best way to block pain after keyhole chest surgery

Summary

This study aims to find which of two ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques works better for controlling pain after minimally invasive chest surgery (VATS). Researchers will compare the Erector Spinae Plane block with the Serratus Anterior Plane block in 50 adult patients. The goal is to see which method provides more effective pain relief in the hours following surgery.
