New pain block challenges standard for C-Section recovery

NCT ID NCT07411521

Summary

This study compares two methods for managing pain after a planned cesarean section. Researchers want to see if a newer, ultrasound-guided injection (erector spinae plane block) works as well as or better than the standard combined spinal-epidural method. They will measure pain levels, recovery quality, and side effects in 90 women to find which approach offers better comfort and faster recovery.
