New nerve block study aims to cut opioid use after breast surgery
NCT ID NCT07368413
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to manage pain after breast-conserving surgery for cancer. It will compare two different ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques to see which one provides better pain relief and reduces the need for opioid painkillers after the operation. The trial will involve 70 patients who will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two pain control methods before their surgery.
