Sticky solution for sprained ankles? new patch aims to ease the pain
NCT ID NCT06866613
Summary
This study tested a medicated skin patch designed to reduce pain from mild ankle sprains. Researchers compared the pain-relief patch to a placebo patch in 69 adults who had recently sprained their ankle. The main goal was to see if the active patch was better at reducing pain, especially when moving, over the first 48 hours and up to 8 days.
