First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether teaching people about how pain works (pain neuroscience education) can reduce symptoms like pain and numbness in mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. About 48 adults with confirmed CTS will receive this education along with standard home exercises and a wrist splint. The goal is to see if adding this education provides extra relief compared to standard care alone.
