Kidney stone pain relief: how do common drugs affect your breathing?
NCT ID NCT07386288
Summary
This study looked at how two common pain medications affect breathing and blood flow in stable patients with severe kidney stone pain. Researchers gave 102 adults in the emergency room either one painkiller, another, or a combination, and measured their breathing and blood markers. The main goal was to see how a simple breath measurement changed after receiving the pain treatments.
