First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at two types of minimally invasive surgery for colon cancer—robotic and laparoscopic—to see which one causes less pain after the operation. About 80 adults having planned colon surgery will take part. Researchers will measure pain levels, use of pain medicine, and recovery up to 12 months after surgery. The goal is to help surgeons choose the best approach to reduce pain and speed up recovery.
