Tickle your way to a painless shot? new devices aim to ease Kids' diabetes fears

NCT ID NCT07239700

Summary

This study is testing two simple, drug-free devices to see if they can make insulin shots less painful and frightening for children with type 1 diabetes. 90 kids, aged 6 to 12, will try either the Buzzy (a cold, vibrating gadget) or the TickleFlex (a soft pen attachment) during their regular injection. Researchers will measure the children's pain and fear levels to see if these tools help improve comfort during daily diabetes care.
