New pain drug tested for smoother surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT07372209

Summary

This study compared two pain medications (oliceridine and sufentanil) given during anesthesia for gynecologic surgery. Researchers measured how well each drug controlled blood pressure and heart rate changes when patients were put on a breathing tube. The goal was to see if one medication provided better stability with fewer side effects during and after surgery.
