Summary
This study aimed to understand and describe how pain was controlled during medical procedures for common skin injuries like cuts, scrapes, burns, and leg ulcers. Researchers looked back at 200 past patient records and also conducted short interviews with 40 more patients and their care teams. The goal was to gather information on current pain management practices, not to test a new treatment.
