New nerve block may cut opioid use after lung surgery

Summary

This study tests a nerve block (intertransverse process block) to control pain after lung surgery. 66 adults having a lobectomy will get either the block or a placebo. The goal is to see if it reduces morphine use and pain scores in the first 24 hours.
