Which painkiller works best after major head and neck surgery?

Summary
This study compares two pain medications, sufentanil and methadone, to see which provides better pain control after head and neck reconstruction surgery. About 128 adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs. Researchers will track pain levels and how much extra pain medicine is needed during recovery.
