New nerve blocks battle Post-Surgery pain in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07337330
Summary
This study aims to find which of two ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques works better for pain relief after liver cancer surgery. Researchers will compare the External Oblique Intercostal Block and the Erector Spinae Block in 52 patients undergoing liver removal. The main goal is to see which method provides longer-lasting pain control and reduces the need for strong opioid pain medications like morphine after surgery.
