Summary
This study observed patients having gynecologic surgery to see if one of two specific nerve block techniques worked better for pain control. Doctors compared a 'Type 1' block to a 'Type 2' block, which are injections given near the spine to numb the surgical area. The goal was to see which method helped patients feel less pain and need fewer strong painkillers after their operation.
