New nerve block technique tested for faster recovery after lung surgery

NCT ID NCT07467291

Summary

This study compares two different nerve block techniques for managing pain after minimally invasive lung surgery. Researchers want to see if a newer nerve block method works as well as a more established one for reducing pain and improving recovery. The study involves 70 adults undergoing this type of surgery, and both techniques use ultrasound guidance to precisely deliver pain medication.
