Targeted nerve block aims to cut painkiller use after back surgery
NCT ID NCT06002217
Summary
This study is testing if a targeted numbing injection, called a TAP block, can help reduce pain after lower back surgery. Researchers will compare the injection to a placebo in 80 patients. The main goal is to see if this method lowers the amount of strong pain medication patients need in the first three days after their operation.
