Summary
This study is testing whether a specific nerve block injection in the neck can better control pain after spinal fusion surgery compared to a placebo injection. Researchers want to see if this method reduces maximum pain in the first day after surgery and lowers the need for opioid pain medications. The trial involves 38 adults having elective neck fusion surgery and will track their pain, medication use, and recovery for two weeks.
