This study tested two ultrasound-guided nerve blocks—erector spinae plane block and thoracic paravertebral block—to see which provides better pain relief and faster recovery after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. Thirty adults aged 21–60 participated. The main goal was to measure how long until patients needed extra pain medicine and how much pain they felt in the first 24 hours.
