First seen Jun 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compares two types of pain blocks—sacral erector spinae plane block and caudal epidural block—in 60 children aged 6 months to 7 years undergoing hypospadias repair. The goal is to see which method provides better pain relief in the first 24 hours after surgery. Researchers will measure pain scores, how much extra pain medicine is needed, and any complications.
