New study seeks best pain relief for neck surgery patients

Summary
This study compares two types of ultrasound-guided pain blocks (ISPB and ESPB) for people having elective back-of-the-neck surgery. The goal is to see which block reduces the need for opioid pain medicine during and after surgery. 102 adults aged 18 and older will take part, and the results will help improve pain control and recovery.
